Camping/Float HERF...Any Interest?

Alright, now that I've gotten some experience under my belt here I'm gonna attempt to organize a HERF. I like to do a lot of outdoor activities and I know there are some other BOTL who do to. I think it'd be a lot of fun to do a weekend camping/floating HERF. I've got several possibilities in mind, but if no one else is interested :dunno:. Would anyone else be interested in doing this?

Yep. I figured if I got an early start people that live farther away would have time to plan if they wanted to come. Thinking...that's why they pay me the big $$ :grin:.

No, that would be a trip for people with experience. There are several good/easy streams here in southern Missouri/northern Arkansas. My two personal favorites are the Big Sugar (quieter, great fishing) and Elk Rivers (more of a party float...ie boobies :thumbsup.

Bumping for anyone interested. This is the website to the place I usually camp/float at...http://www.sugarislandcanoe.com/index.htm They do have a cabin that holds 6 people for those not comfortable sleeping on the ground...pussies :grin:. I'll keep bumping periodically as it get's closer to spring.

I may try to swing a multi-day if the time allows. For that kind of drive it would have to be longer than a weekend. Keep everyone posted.

The best floating is usually late spring/early summer...so late May/early June.
