Gators and Buckeyes. No way the voters were going to go with a Michigan/Ohio matchup and leave the question of who was really the champ; a real possibility if Michigan won the rematch. Worse, ratings would have sucked with two midwestern teams in the title game. You know the networks and sponsors did not want that and in the end, this is all about big money. . .:yes: It was a good decision though. . .

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Totally agreee, Florida traditionally (as well as California) has the fastest players in the country--they run track all year.
I like Florida's chances.

Florida also played well enough to get a chance versus better opponents too. Plus Florida won a conference that should be added as requirement to play for the National Championship.
