Ok,

Very little activity on the coordination thread, so I am just making some decisions and scheduling this to get it off the ground and we'll see how it goes.

Location: Austin, Texas
Venue: Emma Long Park
Date: April 18, 2015
Time: 10am - ??

There is a $10 fee to enter the park. If you are attending, PM me and we can share cell numbers to coordinate.

There are pits in the park, so my intent is that we bring food and grill it up.
Let's use this thread to start coordinating food and other things that are needed.

Things to bring:
Sunscreen
Lawn chairs
Drinks of your choice.
Food (we'll hopefully coordinate to work this part out)
Swimsuit if you wanna dip in the water.
Kayaks, etc if you wanna partake in the water.
Motor Boat - Great boating, skiing, wake boarding
Fishing gear if you wanna throw a line in.
Mountain bike - Some of the best in Austin, relatively high difficulty.
Dirt Bike - Great dirt bike trails

We'll add to this as we come up with more. If we don't get enough people, we might move this to a local shop.

Timing wise I'm not sure if I can. I'm starting a new job on the 13th, which is throwing a lot of my plans into chaos.

lol, still a valid question. It looks like there are only gonna be a few people. Let's get a head count of how many are for actually coming, then we can decide if we want to simplify things or proceed with current plan.

Not seeing much of a confirming head count so far . I am going to send a PM to each person here who has expressed interest.

I am thinking about changing the venue since it looks like there won't be very many. I want to see if you guys are interested in moving this to

They have food, a lot of beers on tap, cigars, and have an outside patio. We are allowed to bring our own cigars. Let me know what yall think. I originally selected the first locale because ai was hoping for more people. If we can't get enough people, I may just call it a wash.

It looks like not enough herfers are going to be able to make this herf, so I am cancelling. We can discuss another date that works for people and try to do it another time. The venue I listed seems to be liked by those that responded and I also sent an email to Adelberts Craft Beer in Austin and they said we could hang outside at their picnic tables or bring out own lawn chairs if we would like to do it there. So we have a couple options. When yall are ready to schedule a date, post up or PM me and we will try agin. Sorry.

We should definitley try. I would encourage all Texas Brothers to join the Texas BOTL group. It might make coordinating between us easier since all group member get notified of activity there, rather than trying to hunt down a specific thread.
