  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Really like this one, especially at that amazingly low price point. Got lots of funky barnyard, and pepper in the first third. In the second third things quickly move to oily leather and sweet chocolate. Finally in the last segment, a really sweet cedar, somewhat tangy as well, comes in. Performance is flawless throughout. I smoked the 5x50 "Divino" robusto. Frankly, this is exactly the kind of cigar I like to keep on hand for an every day smoke... high quality at a crazy low price.

Full, long winded, wordy picturey review posted HERE.

As always, thanks for reading, and let me know if you agree, disagree, or want to talk trash.

Fantastic review as always. These have been on my "to buy" list for a while. Sounds like a lot of bang for my buck. Thanks for sharing

I really like the divino and animado sizes. For the $ you really have a hard time beating it. I just hope the merger doesn't cause any problems. You can get a box for a little over a $100 with most shop discounts and have as an everyday or a good quality sharing stick when friends want to burn.

just had a divino last night. it was pretty banged up as it was loosely packed in checked in luggage so it had lost its cap and the wrapper was torn in a few places. still, it smoked perfectly with a clean burn - a testament to its excellent construction. lots of flavor complexity here and the smoke never got harsh. also, surprisingly little nicotine kick for such a tasty stick. affordable pricing is a nice bonus. anyone had both this and the maduro version? wonder how the two blends compare.

Agree wholeheartedly with everything you said -- especially about it being a great everyday cigar for the price. Bought 3 boxes from the Leaf when I first got in to cigars and out of those I've only had one stick that was plugged to the point I couldn't smoke it. Very impressed for the price point.
