The BurgerMeister
the devil is a busy man.
(here's some info.)
construction good on this box-pressed stick. a little spongy. nice wrapper, no faults/holes. lit easily, draws perfectly. burn is very even so far. ash is dark grey and fell off at about 1". initial notes are grass or straw with a nice earthy aroma.
into the second third, and a nice subtle sweetness has come into play. it's bringing everything together nicely. flavors are still grassy and the aroma is still earthy. so far, this is a very smooth and enjoyable smoke.
getting close to the band, and this stick's smoking nice and even all the way. no issues. at the band, a nice leathery flavor has taken over. there are still subtle grassy and earthy notes, especially on the finish. the aforementioned sweetness is now quite subdued. there's now a nice velvet feeling on the tongue... like a pleasant coating made of the earth and leather flavors. this smoke just got smoother as it burned down. this is a nubber for sure.
burned a little hot down by the nub, so that nice velvet feel went away. all in all, a great smoke! very enjoyable!
GRADE: B
N.B. i'm refining my review template. my apologies for the inconsistencies. :guitar:
