A Razorback lost in Texas land
Cold draw has some cereal grain, coffee, and some kind of dried fruit. Wrapper is really great, getting some kind of barnyard and spice coming off of it.
First third has tons of delicious spice and raisin or prune fruits. Some kind of eggy desert vibes, too. Bright roast coffee, a little cream. Oily texture on the tongue, and a great long finish.
Of course the ash falls off right as I’m trying to take a pic. Camera shy.

Of all the NC’s I’ve smoked so far, I think this one comes closest to having that Punch Punch juicy spice that I love. Still not as rich, but it is a shadow of that profile, and very enjoyable.
There’s not a lot of change through the midpoint. More spice, more juice. More coffee. Just expanding on those original notes. Maybe a bit of pecan, and some spicy honey. Good stuff here!
At the end, and this was a nubber for me, the spice and dark jammy fruits remained. Roasted cashews and caramel jumped out occasionally near the band, and great bright roasted coffee. Not a complex smoke, to me, but a good quick lonsdale. Getting more when I can!
