Has anybody smoked one of these recently? Still the same quality as they were "back in the day?"

They used to be a favorite, then as I expanded my horizons and pretty much forgot about them. Reading through some old reviews on a now-defunct site, I stumbled upon them again and it was like running into an old friend.

I've got a couple left from purchases in summer 2013 and spring 2014. It's been a few months since I smoked one, but I remember it being just as good as always.

Also, these are the newest special on CBid. $32.50 for a 10 pack of robustos. I've already hit my cigar budget for this month, but I might have to pull the trigger.

Atlantic seems to have the best non-sale prices on them currently, if you're looking for a box.

Last one I had tasted like the wrapper had been rolled in molasses, and there was a fine chalky dust feeling in my mouth. I did not enjoy it.

Don't look to me, I don't do reviews. My palate's too ignorant to pick out all them there flavors. I simply know what tastes good and draws well, and this stick is near the top of my list.

Last one I had was a little off, but the one before that, I smoked down to about half an inch. Overall, a great smoke.
