Carrying a CigarCaddy on a flight

I am flying out to Cali on Saturday and have my CigarCaddy filled up. I dont trust the folks who rummage through your bag enough to just stick it in w/ my luggage so I want to carry it on. Its the big 25ct black CigarCaddy.

My question: What experience has anybody had good/bad carrying on a big black box full of cigars on a plane. I can just see them hasseling me about it. :argue:

Any experiences would be mucho appreciated :thumbsup:

Just got back from carrying on a 15-count and a 5-count (going out full, coming back almost empty :eyebrow: ). Didn't have any problems whatsoever either way. Also had a 2-blade cigar cutter that I carried on inside my shaving kit - no problems there either.

B/T/W - make sure you take along something to pry them open with when you reach your destination. Fortunately, I had a pair of tweezers that did the trick.

Hmmm, I usually travel with my five count Caddy inside my carry-on...good luck.

No problems on multiple flights, the purge valve on the 32ct is handy

Done it many times and never had a problem.

Do you de-band your travelling smokes?

If it's only domestic travel, I don't. The TSA is not interested in what kind of cigars they are.

I doubt the average screener will want to take the time to figure out if the R&J is the ISOM or the NC brand while 1000 people wait in line.
