Hey gang. So I'm smoking my first Casa Royale right now ... it's a Toro, and was gifted to me over a year ago. I know a lot of you smoke these regularly, for those who don't: it's a Pepin-made Holt's exclusive, all long-filler, with a really ugly wrapper that looks quite familiar ...

Wow! I'm really impressed with this cigar for far, especially considering how much it costs. The churchills are on special today at Holt's, but that's not usually my favorite size.

What do you guy's and gals think of the Casa Royale? What's your favorite size? I gravitate to coronas lately ... can anyone compare those specifically?

If I answered that honestly ... Holt's would run out of these fast.

EDIT: Okay, let me clarify. Does this "taste like a Tat Black?" No. However, that sweet spice that I loved so much in the Black I had the other day is present in the Casa Royale as well, just not quite as pronounced. All the other nuances and tricks of the Black (like the brownies) are not here, though. But considering you can get these at $3/stick, I think that if you like the Black or even just like Pepin, they are a must-try. But that's based on one stick, which is over a year old.

Yep, You would be able to sell 5ers for 21 shipped. I just don't have the time to do the split next week or I would do it myself, I just don't want a whole box

Yea, the one I had today was good, tasty stick for the money. Nothing incredible, but very nice.

Anyone tried the corona?
