  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I am pretty sure Bill won. I did not find out his final score, but I had the bogey blues. I shot a 91.

I had around 4 birdie putts and missed them all. The greens were very tricky. I would like to play the course again, now that I know the course.

We played with Bill's dad and an old rodeo partner of mine. Great group!!!

We played a course called Black Gold in Yorba Linda, CA. I highly rocommend it. It was in great shape.

WARNING: The greens are super fasssssssssssst
Just got back into town late last night. It was blast meeting and hanging out with Michael and his buddy Sean (sp?). Nothing like watching a Texas fan and Oklahoma fan riding in a cart together :) The course was in great shape and the greens were an absolute nightmare. I think I three putted 6 times! I shot an 85 thanks to two lost balls and all those dang three putts.

Thanks for the great sticks Michael! Hope to play some more golf with you in the future bro. Make sure to give me a call next time you're up in my neck of the woods.

I shot an 82 on the home course yesterday. I guess I can play a little golf sometimes. I lost faith after a 91 at black gold.

Still wouldn't be able to out drive Bill. That boy can smack the ball.

my dad and i ended up playing los verdes yesterday. shot an 84 yesterday and didn't make a putt all day. nice course, but a 6 hour round does not make golfing fun and you just cant get in a rythm. wont be playing there again.

They said it's the second busiest course in the US next to some course in Hawaii that plays all sixsomes! Rediculous! Even if I didn't have to wait, I'd still play Black Gold over Los Verdes anyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

Was it in good shape? I haven't played there in over a year because it is so slow.
Yeah, it was in good shape, and there were some fun holes, but I liked the layout of Black Gold a lot more.

Some of those holes are beautiful though!

Next time you are down we will have to play Robinson Ranch in Canyon Country. That is one of my favorites in California.
Sounds good. Haven't heard of that one, but love playing new courses.
