  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Hey brothers,

Question do clubs need to be stored in the humidor? Being they are I'm guessing wrapper leaves rolled up? I bought a box of 100 they came as (5) 20 packs. I don't know how to store them.

Thanks for any help!

I'd store them in the humidor, otherwise they'll dry out.

Anyway, you can stick half of them in the humi, leave half of them on your shelf and check up on both groups periodically. See which group performs better and that's your storage solution right there.

Im not sure about Clubs so this might not help, but if they are oven cured or similar to a machine rolled cigar(Think swisher or white owl) you shouldn't have to as long as they are in cellophane, but you probably have more experience with them than i do so go with your gut and if they feel dry humidify.

That was my first thought as well.

I'm pretty sure you need to humidify them, I'm almost positive.

Sorry I didn't see this. What is your RH at in your humi. If your at 65. I say put them in the humi but as far as possible for the source of RH. I actually put mine in the corner and covered them with the cedar sleeves from inside cigar tubes. It kept them drier and good to smoke.

If you leave them out you run into the issue of them trying out and then they get super hot when you smoke them and they lack flavour. This is my experience and I've smoked these for about 3-4 years now.

See my humidor is kept as 69 RH so I find them to wet but when they are in the tupidor where they started at 65 RH I found they were fine.

Thanks guys, I put them in my desktop which is 65% rh so there shouldn't be an issue, I just wasn't sure how most people store them.
