Central Texas Herf

There has been some interest in a herf in the Austin, TX area. Any ideas for time and place?

Not too aware of most places around here. I usually end up at Fumee on 183-S. But, there are plenty of places down town too.

Well, I just started doing some marketing work for a B&M, The Cigar Room, in Lakeway, TX. He's got a great place, fully stocked bar and humidor (selection is currently a little light, but growing) and it's free to smoke and hang out. I asked the owner and he'd love to host us.

Lakeway is like 15 minutes from my house. Never been there, but it sounds good to me.

My weekends just opened up. Sundays are tricky due to hockey though. Saturdays would be best for me.

Damn man... you guys would pick the weekend of Valentines lol. We'll see... hopefully I'll be able to make it. Never been there. I poked my head in Heroes and Legacies last weekend and was super impressed. Knowledgeable and very courteous/helpful/friendly staff. Bought a J21 and a few other sticks while I was in there. Looking forward to checking out the Cigar Room.

Heroes has an amazing selection and a semi-knowledgeable staff. But they charge way too much to smoke in the lounge. I'm biased, since I work at The Cigar Room, but I like it better. Plus, TCR serves alcohol and it's free smoke there. If the date doesn't work out for you, we can change it, no problem.

Looks like it should be good for me! Yeah H&L was a bit on the steep side but they gave a 10% military discount which helped a little. I didnt actually smoke there either, was just checking it out. Any chance TCL has some 12 year Glenlivit laying around for purchase? You'd definitely have a customer out of me.

No, Alex doesn't carry any of those... But you'll like the place nonetheless.
