You'll see a few faces in there now. Back in the days when CW and BOTL had an mirc channel, there were 8-10 of us in there on a regular basis.

When the BOTL mirc down a few months ago, vipe never had a chance to get to the bottom of the problem.

Hmm some kind of error with the java client, maybe your router has the ports blocked or I don't know... Not sure how the java client works exactly.

If you want to download an irc client you can try this one http://www.psyon.org/projects/xchat-win32/xchat-2.4.1.exe
Mac users, I like this one: http://colloquy.info/


Then you connect to irc.freenode.net server and join #botl
or you can use that even mirc program.

It also appears server maintenance or something is going on so not everyone may show up or it might not connect right away.

Are you clicking 'YES' on the security warning that is coming up?

If not, do so.

Your other bet is to clear your temporary internet files. Shoot me a PM and I'll run you through it.

I got this in X-chat...I have never been able to access IRC from my laptop, oh well.
