Chaveta - Cigar Roller's Knife?

Thanks. I guess no one sells the plain jane carbon steel knives that you see in all the YouTube videos of rollers in the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, etc.

I'll be buying one as well I have a number of factory-type cigar cutters and was about to look for a chaveta too. Thanks for the link. If you're interested in one of these cigar cutters, I'd be happy to trade stogies for them.

Pablo Romay is a cigar roller. The Chaveta he uses was made from an hand saw blade. Might be interesting to make your own. Add a personal flare to it.

I received the chaveta. It's nice... Is it worth $40? I don't think so...unless the steel is S30V...which it isn't. It doesn't look like "measure twice, cut once" was used on this one.
