I will be down in Chicago as I am going with a friend to listen to Ryan Bingham. Staying at the Westin at the end of Michigan Ave. The show is at 11:00 and are only plans are to go to Ditka's restaurant to smoke a cigar then to Goose Island's brewpub.

Theres no smoking in any public building in IL that I know of. Unless they have a way around it? Sorry brother for the bad news. Pm me if ya want to hang at the leaf when your in!

Now I've never been so you should call, it right downtown and from my understanding you can smoke downstairs and the bar is upstairs and you can grab you drinks.

Should of stated unless they don't serve food and liqour and 80 percent or more of tobacco sales then they allow smoking.

I thought I read that Mike Dikta's restaurant had a cigar bar from the website. That's where we were planning on going. I had mentioned going to Plainfield but my friend is driving and he didn't want to go out of his way.

I plan on making it down there again the next time Pete or Jonathan come back!

They had one for several years. When the new law went into affect this year you can not have food and liquor sales along with tobacco sales in IL anymore.(or smoke in any public building unless its a cigar shop w no food or liquor) They may still have it but I thought it was connected to the restaurant(up stairs) so u still can not smoke there.

If I understand WI anti-smoking law it doesn't allow for any new establishments to allow smoking even if it's a cigar bar or cigar shop.
