I received this fine looking cigar from my friend @apaniagua. Even though I don't qualify experience-wise, I thought I'd write out and share my thoughts here. My first review.

Nice looking construction. Color looks delicious. Sweet smell and hay.
Dry draw nothing of note. Easy draw. Solid construction on this one. I love the color. Seriously, it's very nice looking.
Let's cut it and light it up.
1/3 - tasting some pepper. Notes of cocoa and caramel. Nice, chew smoke. Easy draw on this one. The finish is getting more peppery as I go but the sweet caramel notes are still there.
I should tell you readers, I don't have the most discerning palate (yet). Especially compared to my wife. She can pick up subtle flavors in wine and probably in the air if she tried. She'd be an amazing cigar reviewer but she doesn't smoke. Let's keep working on that.
Picking up some cedar in there too. Cedar, to me, often feels a little harsh on my palate. This isn't too much. I bet if this rested for a few months more, I'd like it even more.
I love the amount of smoke this stick is producing. The smoke isn't as think as initially, but the draw is so easy that I get a large volume of it with each pull.
Nice, even burn.
The scent is really amazing. Tobacco and hay. Smells great. Especially the sweetness coming from the foot. I've never actually said a foot smells sweet before.
Pepper is fading, only a but at the back end. Cedar has faded and I'm getting happier.
2/3
The burn is perfect. No touch ups needed. This is a well constructed cigar.
Flavor is complex for this simpleton (me). I'll say simply that I like it. Each draw brings out slightly different flavors, many of which I'm not able to explain - not because they aren't distinguishable but because I not experienced enough.
Pepper is not there. Sweetness lingers. Hints of hay and sugar and some cedar. It's tasty for sure.
I don't have a large budget for cigars so I'm not typically able to afford a box of cigars no matter how much I like them. Also being somewhat new to the hobby and the wide range of options out there, I tend to try to try a bunch different sticks and spread the money out. For me, buying a fiver is showing a commitment. That said, I'd buy five of these at their price point. I'd love to keep a few in the humidor for 6 months to a year and see how the flavors change or become more distinguishable for me.
3/3
Not much change and that's great in my opinion. Loving the flavors (even if I can't accurately place them). Seems like this is a cigar you'll either like or not. And isn't that great? I don't want to finish a cigar and say, "That was alright." I want to have a visceral response of either love or hate when I am done. And for me, the guts say I love it.
