I'm currently organizing the 2nd Annual Mr. G's Bday Cigar Crawl in the Chicago burbs. I did this last year as a surprise bday p-2resent for my Dad. He quit drinking several years ago and we both picked up cigar smoking together as a way to bond and spend time together. Last year we hit up 3 Chi burb area lounges and ended the night with pizza at a local spot. It was a lot of fun. I even had shirts made for those who attended. This years crawl will be on Jan 9. If anyone is interested in meeting up and hangin out while smoking a stick or two shoot me note so I can be on the lookout for you. The itinerary is as follows (we stay at each shop long enough to smoke a cigar and BS for a few min):
11am-130ish Cigars and More in Long Grove
2:00pm-4:30ish Cigar Lounge in Woodfield
5:00pm-?? Food somewhere probably around Woodfield, either pizza or burgers
??-?? Casa de Montecristo in Countryside (if anyone is interested in joining us there I will update this thread that afternoon with an expected time frame for Casa)
I had some shirts made again this year so if you decide to join look for the group of knuckleheads all wearing the same shirt. If you wanna hang out and smoke with a bunch of guys who dont know much about cigars but love to talk sports, other BS and just make fun of each other PLEASE feel free to join us. It'd be fun to make new friends and meet fellow BOTLs.
