Please join us on Thursday, August 30th to celebrate the "Series 601" cigars, yet another remarkable cigar created by master blender Pepin Garcia. As you likely know by now, Pepin is the man who blessed the world with Tatuaje, the Miami Padilla, and Pepin's own white label (the "jota jota"). And now he's brought us a new series of cigars to add to our humidor---the 601.
Mission Pipe Shop will showcase three different 601 blends, most easily identified as the black, the blue, and the red label. The black label is comprised of an exquisite blend of aged Nicaraguan tobaccos and is finished with a beautifully rich and oily Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. This beauty is a medium to full-bodied smoke that has received accolades throughout the cigar industry. The Blue label 601 is the box pressed edition of the Black label but it achieves its flavor from an oily Nicaraguan habano maduro wrapper. The Blue label is a full bodied cigar with superb aroma and taste. Finally, the Red label utilizes the same aged Nicaraguan tobaccos but is topped with a rich, oily habano natural wrapper.
