  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I saw that in a magazine the other day. Not sure how I feel about it. I think I’d rather have a regular glass and a cigar rest instead.
I'm not sold on it, I tried 3 random cigars and imo they didn't fit very well. I can see Ron White using this in his act, but that's about it

Ah..... That's what I was gonna ask. How well does it hold...... Probably be better off with just slight indentations in the rim......:bookworm:

Also, that is probably murder to the glasses structural integrity with the density variances and hard angles.. I wouldn't even want it to get knocked over on hardwood.... It "might" survive it, but...... :meh:

It looks cool.. but I'd be afraid of burning/ashing myself or my drink. That is, if it held my cigar... I smoke a lot of petit coronas, which I doubt that would hold, at least not past the first few puffs.

Interesting but reading what others are saying I have to agree with em...sometimes you just can't build a better mousetrap. I'd tip the thing over and break the glass while reaching for my cigar and screw up the whole evening when all I wanted to do was smoke/drink....now I gotta mess to clean up...I'm so p'd right now thinking about it.

I'll continue to use my stinky ashtray or cigar brake for the cigar rest and keep my libations separately in their glass. I'm sure this could be the start of something new though. It's definitely an interesting concept but a pass for me.

I think there is a high possibility of a lot of people getting that for Christmas from people who don't know cigars.
Yea if this thing was marketed properly, at the right price, especially on Amazon or Ebay every loving child and wife of a cigar smoker would be placing an order in time for Christmas. I wouldn't advertise to smokers but get the attention of their kids and family, absolutely.

I was thinking that too.
