Cigar Piercer

Anyone ever use a cigar piercer? How do these work or do they concentrate the smoke too much?

Never seen one before, but it looks like it would make the draw of a swisher with 1000 times the concentration.

Looks to me like it is a spring loaded punch, we used to use these to break windows in car at a traffic accident when doing extrication....

I don't believe it has a spring, I have a similar one made of steel. It's like a hollow nail on a handle. I was told it was used on the dry-cured cigars that Europe used to be fond of. You push it in creating a hole and when it's pulled out it has a little tobacco in the hollow recess. Works like crap on every cigar I've tried it on and the tars do build up quickly making for a nasty smoke about half way through the cigar. Conversation piece only as far as I'm concerned. Gold would be cool though.
