I usually use a pen or small screwdriver but he makes a good point, wouldn't want to damage the stem and hence need to replace the lighter. But I *knock on wood* have never had that happen yet

or just one of the plastic adapter tips off a butane bottle cap :)

I use a 1/16 flat head...but I also don't use high end lighters, so I won't be sad if they get jacked up. It looks like a nice product though, especially for folks who want to protect their high end investments.
