  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Has anyone given this software a shot (www.cigarRegister.com)?
I'm going to start cataloging my inventory (I know some tried doing this in various way, spreadsheet, etc. Some didn't stay with it or just liked the surprise of find a forgotten stick when looking in the humi)

I'm not sure if I'll end up liking it, but you never know. Plus it will help with the strategery of well placed bombs....I'm gonna track YOUR preferred flavor profile..MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Its windows only (I became a mac guy last year). I had Windows installed via bootcamp, but was running low on disk space so I erased the partition. I'm downloading the trial of Paralells (has mixed reviews, I know) to see if I like it. I'll give it a review on here once I spend some time with it. (I'm slowly but surely learning the iPhone SDK and still want to do a BOTL app)

I installed it, but never got around to using it. I uninstalled it sometime last year. I don't really have enough cigars on hand to justify using it.

I used to use it some time ago. In the end, I saw it easier to keep a journal, which lately hasn't been very updated asides from reviews...

If you are looking for a nice uniform place to keep your stuff, I would suggest using bento, which is a part of file maker but not with all the bells and whistles. I also use parallels and I love it can't say enough great things about it. However I wouldn't pay more than $40 for it which it can be had at.

boobies

that's all I know, everything else is crazy Island talk
 :computer:

I did just mess around with it, doesn't seem that great. 3800 vitolas in the built in database, but no way (from my short time messing with it) to add a custom one, which seems necessary since newer sticks aren't in there.

Look around, because when I had it it did have the function.

Open the program and go to TOOLS > OPTIONS> MEASURES, from there you can change to Inches.
