SMOKE

A Brooklyn cigar store anchors the vignettes that make up this lyrical Wayne Wang movie written by famous author Paul Auster. Auggie (Harvey Keitel), the store manager, is surprised by a visit from his ex-wife, who says their daughter is in trouble. Rashid (Harold Perrineau Jr.), a runaway searching for his father (Forest Whittaker), saves Auggie's customer, Paul (William Hurt), from being hit by a car, and changes his life forever.

Blue in the Face

As a stand-alone movie or as a companion to the critically acclaimed Wayne Wang movie Smoke, Blue in the Face succeeds. The faux-documentary captures improvised scenes using the same cast as Wang's movie and others who dropped by during filming. Interesting appearances include Lily Tomlin as a man searching for Belgian waffles, Michael J. Fox as a survey taker, Madonna delivering a singing telegram … and more.

Rhythm & Smoke

Music and cigars -- the two go together like milk and honey. This two-part DVD begins by documenting Cuba's vibrant music scene, which has exploded in popularity all over the world. Featured artists include Cristal, Carlos Varela, Afrojazz, Sintesis and master percussionist Changuito. The second part explores the centuries-old process of making cigars -- from harvesting the tobacco to hand-rolling the final, much-coveted product.

The Fabulous Story of the Cuban Cigar

As any aficionado will tell you, Havana is the birthplace of the greatest stogies on the planet. This informative documentary unlocks the secrets behind the intricate leaf-rolling process that creates the much-sought-after "Havana smoke." The producers tour the island's lush tobacco regions, where the soil is rich enough to grow the celebrated leaf. Also included are interviews with collectors who work to keep the legend alive.

The Havana Cigar of Connoisseurs

Shot on location in the Cuban provinces Pinar de Rio and Havana, where socialistic workers need three to four years to produce a Havana, and in London, Madrid, and Berlin, where Havana afficionados whiff these expensive toys in forty-five minutes, this entertaining documentary takes a look at the history and tradition of the finest cigar in the world. Some of the more famous smokers of the Havana were Winston Churchill, Fidel Castro, Groucho Marx, and John F. Kennedy.
This DVD includes the Spanish language version El Habano, as well as the English-language version, The Havana, of the film.

Please add any others you know about.

Honorable Mention, this looks good:
The History Channel Presents: Winston Churchill

Sir Martin Gilbert, the iconic Winston Churchill's official biographer, lets viewers behind the proverbial curtain of the British prime minister's life in this History Channel production. Five hours of footage, interviews, newsreels and more reveal the controversies and triumphs of Churchill's reign, including clandestine meetings with American president Franklin Delano Roosevelt, navigating the politics of India and other issues.
