Cigarfest will begin Saturday 1, 2010 the place hasn’t been picked yet. Tickets will go on sale February. I have never been there but it sounds like a lot of fun. If you have attended last years or years past give me some feedback. I am thanking of attending.:applause:

I spoke with Ashley at CI she said that 2500 tickets were sold last year. They did not last for the full month

I called CI and yeas you have to be 21 years of age. Age discrimination is a bit-h isn’t it. :cursing:

i purchased tickets to the 2006 cigar fest. There was another semi-local guy and me going up together. We made the deal I would pay for plane tickets, and he would pay for our suite. about a week prior to even I got an e-mail from him backing out. Since I had already paid for my c-fest ticket, and both our plane tickets, I didn't have the extra to pay for hotel also so I had to cancel the trip. I am glad the airline gave me a partial refund or I would have been even more pissed then I was. I have been thinking about going this year.

No Larry I went to Famous Smokes cigarexpo. It was great. I missed CI's event I'm thinking of doing both this year.

The tickets go on sale at 5AM and last yr, they were sold out by 520AM. They sell 2500 tickets and its held at The Split Rock Resort in the Poconos. I went for the last 4 yrs and every year they add more people in the same building so its crowded. The Famous BBQ in June is much more relaxed and you get better quality cigars. If you go to the Famous event, get the VIP ticket that includes the dinner the night before. Its the best cigar event I have been to and I have been to many of them.

Yeah i heard tickets sell out really really fast for this. I would like to go but i probably won't. not this year anyways. Sounds like a really great time though.

Last year VIP admission was 125.00 at 1PM ....regular admission at 3PM

what was difference between VIP and regular admiss?

1PM and 3PM..and they sold less VIP tickets so less crowded, but by 3, it was a zoo.I didnt get lunch because the food lines were back into the main show area. Go to www.cigarfest.org to see pictures.

Seems like more of a crowd than I would like. Also seems to be missing a couple guys I'd really want to see: Pete and Dion.

I was there 2years ago it was my first href I thought I was in haven, I didn’t know much about cigars back then, the quality of sticks are Ok if that’s what you like but all the other stuff was cool humi, cutter , bag , ashtray , liquor tasting and just hanging out.

Pirmigrin & I went in 2008 & had a good time. I think it's worth springing for the VIP tix so you can avoid some of the lines - it gets very crowded. They have plenty of food, entertainment, models, raffles & deals (nothing that you can't get if you watch daily deals, etc.). The tix are worth it for the swag you get: a small humidor, ashtray, bag & 25+ sticks (a variety of cheap-decent smokes).

To me, it's like any entertainment: it's what you make it. Go with friends & have a great time. I will probably pass, but I live between Famous & CI, so I am always up for down-time herfin!
