This Thursday September 3rd, Cigars N More is proud to present Jose Rene Sanchez, a cigar roller from Havana Cuba. Rene was born in Havana Cuba and was the only son. He was introduced to the tobacco industry at a very young age by his mother (La Senora Juana Mila) who worked the tobacco field for over 40 years. In the early 1980's, Rene picked up his rolling skills at the Partagas factory in La Havana. It was here where he learned the art of blending and rolling quality Cuban cigars. Because of his talented rolling skills, he was chosen to represent Partagas at many events around Cuba.

This Thursday, Rene will be rolling a variety of different cigars along with a very unique cigar called The Trifecta. He will be using 7 different blends of tobaccos and 3 different wrappers to construct The Trifecta, which makes it a one of a kind smoking experience. He will start with a mild Connecticut wrapper over a blend of Nicaraguan, Columbian & Dominican tobaccos. In the middle he will use medium bodied Sumatran Sun Grown wrapper and one leaf of Ligero to add to the filler. He will finish the cigar with full bodied Brazilian maduro wrapper and two leafs of Ligero.

That sounds like fun. I usually go to the Livermore Farmers' Market on Thursdays with the wife and kids, but if we get home from that soon enough, maybe I'll head out to Tracy.
