I was thinking today my palate has changed so much since I have been on this board. I think this may be my 6th year with BOTL and I have learned so much on this journey from noobdom.

It got me thinking though that there are some cigars that I've always smoked and enjoyed throughout my journey and a couple are surprises to me.

1. Padron - That will never change.
2. Tatuaje Red and Brown labels.
3. Diesel Cigars - which is surprising to me.
4. DE Natural - more of a sentimental smoke.

Are there any cigars out there that you're surprised you still like years later?

1. Padron 1926 - love at first puff
2. My Father Le Bijou - same
3. Tatuaje 7th
4. Punch Maduro Rothschild - the shocker
5. Padilla Dominus - goodness + struggle stick = nostalgic satisfaction

I've been here for 5 years and that's pretty much how long I've been keeping cigars at the house in a humidor instead of just buying one to smoke that day/night. Others have come and gone, but these are the ones I have been smoking since that time and will still keep and smoke today.

Padrons x000 and Anniversary and Oliva V's. All of which I'm not surprised. I still keep boxes and smoke a lot of these.
Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill. I'm a little surprised. Still keep about 10 or so to smoke occasionally. I've never had the wrapper issue some have had with them.
Casa Fernandez Miami petite robusto. I'm a little surprised. Still keep a box on hand to smoke occasionally.
Oliva Cain Habano and F nubs. I'm surprised by these. Don't smoke many anymore and don't like 60 rg, but if I find a good deal I'll get a few and smoke them as a 2nd or 3rd cigar of the day if smoking that many and still enjoy them. In fact, I just purchased some for $2.65 a piece in Dec so I'm happy to smoke a few at that price.

La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor Belicoso
Arturo Fuente 858 Maduro

If for some reason I had to live with these 2 cigars I wouldn't have a problem with it...until I wanted a non-maduro.
