Cigars with Plume

When you smoke a cigar that has plume........does the wrapper give of little tiny sparks as is burns??:scratchhe

Plume is supposed to be crystalized oils or whatever from the cigar, so I wouldn't be too surprised (though ive never heard of it before)

I like this resopnse...nothing like putting that dreadful feeling of not only having a beetle infestation, but smoking them too!!! and then wondering in awe at the way they snap, crackle and pop.

I've never heard of that happening either. Let us know if you find out what the cause was.
