Civil Unrest in Nicaragua

This final broke in the US News today, Major Rioting all across Nicaragua since Sunday, I have been following this from @ChiefHava and @NickRragua on IG and Twitter, This county has seen its share of Civil War . I'll let u form ur own opinion of what is really going (i'm not debating this just for infor). Say a few Prayers for the land that gives us our Cigar.

After being in Nica numerous times I just hate to see this beautiful county have so mush un-rest .......... I have been checking with our friends at DE, TECHO they r all safe and keeping there heads down..... Stay Strong Nicaragua

Yea, read a brief article in CA about it. As of now the protests have not been directed at the factories. Hopefully these are just the growing pains of a fledging democracy.

Just wanted to bump this thread started by @BradMc. The civil unrest continues in Nicaragua. I have only been there once but I found the people there to be generous and kind-hearted. They deserve better from their government. So if you are so inclined, say a prayer for a peaceful resolution for the country that has given us such a wide variety of cigars. And we all can thank a Higher Power that we live here in peace. It can turn quickly.
