BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

They'd better. According to 2007 fortune 500 report they made just over $40billion in profit last year. Making them the single most profitable company on earth. How in the world can they justify those kind of numbers and why does the government let they get away with it?

On another note, I'm obviously on a different side of the arguement than most, but first, companies are in business to make profits. Second, no one was complaining when they were losing a ton of money in the 80's and a ton of oil companies went belly up. Third, remember that the government make more money off the gas than the oil companies. Forth, remember what happened government regulated gas the last time...(anyone say shortage). Fifth, (and I'll leave it at that) at least this morning I only paid 4.40 for a gallon. I spend more money of crap I don't need than I do on gas and knowing just a little bit on how much work it take to get gas extracted from the earth and to my gas tank, I'm still amazed that it is still this cheap.

I think you mean 3.40 a gallon. I don't mind oil companys getting rich, but come on 40 billion in a quarter
