I've never been one to watch cigar video reviews as I've always felt the actors if you well have been dorks! Not saying that you are for any reason, just my observation over the years watching these.
For some reason I found it interesting that you were reviewing a lighter instead of a cigar, so I watched your review. While watching it I noticed two comments you said that I think should be brought to everyones attention. They were:
"very finicky in the position of level adjustment"
"sometimes it won't fully ignite, sometimes it sputters, sometimes it'll go out"
All lighters are tested/set from the factory to have optimal amounts of fuel being released from the burn nozzle. Most times, when we notice our flame is not tall enough, we automatically reach for the adjustment wheel and turn it up a bit, this is negating that optimal setting the factory had set. Look at it this way, when your vehicles fuel is running low, you refill it, there's no adjustment on your car to make it run better when the fuel is low, the vehicle runs best the way the carburetor or fuel injection is set. So in closing, leave that fuel adjustment screw alone, simply refill and purge after every couple fills. Oh, and no need to turn that level to it's lowest setting to fill your lighter, no need for that at all!
Happy smoking and lighting!
