  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I just read an article on the Colibri Reload lighter.
Has anyone ever used one? Pros / Cons and your opinion of the lighter would be helpful before I made my purchase.

In general, I'm a fan of Colibri lighters, and I just picked up a couple of Reloads on CBid ($7 each I think.) Packages came with the lighter and 2 cartridges (one installed already, plus an extra.)

I love this lighter. It feels really substantial in your hand, and it has the widest flame I've seen of any single torch lighter. I haven't tried to reload it yet. Fuel use seems a little high, but I will make that trade off for the big flame.

CI sites have a 3 pack of cartridges for $6.50 normally, and I'm sure they go on sale/bid on their related sites.

I have one. Nice lighter, cartridges pop in nicely, but ...

I agree with Monsterdg --- it sucks fuel down fast! Cheap to buy, but they get you on the consumables. Like ink jet printers and printer cartridges, or those household mops where you have to use their cleaning pads and cleaner.
