  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Congratulations Terran On Your New QB

most definitely. he's the best thing the bears have had since mcmahon. no matter his immaturity, he is very talented. i'm glad to see him gone from the afc west. i'm thinking the pack and the vikes are gonna have to step it up a notch.

I watched Jay for 4 years at Vandy...he is not the prima donna that SI and the press are making him out to be, trust me. If he is, then he's changed A LOT since college.

He's a great leader on the field, and you know about the arm already. If you guys can get him some deep threats, he's going to put some points on the board for you.

No doubt he's a good QB and the Bears certainly improved at that position now more than anything in recent years...but they still need someone to catch the ball. Hester...not sure, but at least now they have a QB that can get the ball down the field to him.

Thank God the 'Skins didn't sign this chump

Actually, I like Cutler a lot, but I don't think the Redskins were the right team for him, nor did they have what it would take to land him.

Great fit for Da Bears, IMO.

I think the Bears giving up their next 2 number one picks for Cutler is a very bold move. Being able to have the same QB start the whole season will be a vast improvement for this team. I have to agree with Wade, the Bears will need to draft someone to catch the ball.

I heard an interesting point today on the radio. Given the success to failure ratio of 1st round draft picks, giving up 2 of them was TRULY a smart move for a proven, young quarterback. It was some astonishing fact about the number of 1st round QBs that are NOT successful, compared to those that are. If you put it in poker terms, the pot odds of drafting as successful a player as Cutler is with the 2 first round picks they gave up were not high. The smart play was to take the winning hand they were being dealt in Jay.

It would be a nightmare for most any division but alas I'm just dreaming:disappoin Angelo finally did something very very well, if the latter happened pigs would actually be flying around.

I would question my faith in the bears if they signed plax. He's good, but at what price. Besides, the bears have released guys for smaller infractions (some charges dismissed!).
