  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

First review here guys so be gentle. I tend to gravitate toward Tatuaje, Viaje, Drew Estate and Crowned Heads thus far in my smoking endeavors.

Prelight smell had a wonderful faint sweet aged tobacco aroma. The Braz wrapper was very toothy and a color that I could only best descibe as chocolate pudding. I noted a nice light cocoa on the prelight draw. Into the first third the cigar had a very light spiced sweet fruit flavor with a long earthy finish. Second third kicked off with almond, cream and aged tobacco keeping a razor sharp burn and billowing dense smoke. Final third I continued to pickup cocoa and cream with some deep coffee undertones on the finish. The strenght and body never competed with one another and it I would say just slightly medium+ and flirting with medium/full. Overall this cigar was absolutely exceptional! Possibly the most balanced cigar I have ever expeienced ,and felt compelled to share it with everyone. I paired it up with a glass of Bogle Phantom that really worked out nicely. Another winner for Crowned Heads and I must say I am becoming a HUGE fan of their blends.

Nice review. It doesn't matter how long or short a review, letting folks know your experience with a cigar is what matters. After all, your great experience might help someone take that step to try a new cigar. And Jon's cigars are good.
