Whats a good cruise line where they let you smoke cigars on the boat? And not in a small box with cigarette smokers, yuk. Also, where can you score some good deals at a LCDH in the Caribbean? Wife wants to do a cruise, but I wana smoke of course and hit up some good deals at a LCDH.

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity are my favorites and both have designated areas for cigar smokers. Celebrity has what they call the sunset lounge that is a mostly covered bar located on one of the upper decks at rear. Royal Caribbean have a couple ships that have what they call the Connoisseurs Club or Churchill Club. It's been a while since we've been on a Royal Caribbean ship and from what I've heard the cigarette smokers take over the lounge after the late dinner and shows. We used to be able to enjoy a cigar on our balcony. Nothing like sitting on your private balcony looking at the crystal blue seas and enjoying a good smoke. The smoking Nazi's are taking over the world! I know St. Marten has a LCDH on the French side but there are a couple legit shops on the Dutch side as well.
Good luck, brother.

The cruise we went on in January (Carnival) cigars were more restricted than cigarettes. You couldn't smoke cigars at the casino bar but cigarettes you could. There was one small section on one of the upper decks for cigars and that was it. We had a balcony room so I smoked off of it. The neighbors were smoking cigarettes and weed so my little cigar wasn't an issue to anyone around me.

I can't for the life of me understand this logic. Everyone I know - cigarette smokers included - will tell you that cigarettes smell so much worse than cigars. So why would you ban cigars but let cigarette smokers have free reign? And I don't want to hear that cigar smoke is thicker/heavier than cigarette smoke. When there are 20 cigarette smokers to every 1 cigar smoker, the smoke is easily on the same level, if not skewed towards the cigarette smoke volume.

Im sure it has something to do with spending from cigarette smokers vs cigar smokers. In their casinos specially. They probably had studies done that showed a higher number of spenders that come from the cigarette side as opposed to the cigar side. In the end if its in the best interest of the Company... they will go with that.

In vegas cig smokers take over tables, not many cigar smokers sitting around enjoying a cigar while playing cards. A few, but not many.

I don't know - that feels like pretty far stretched reason. I mean, cigar smokers probably have a higher income and will obviously stay longer if they have a cigar or two. Also, even if cigarette smokers do actually spend more, why would you alienate a similar smoker? Just doesn't make sense to me.

But they are both allowed at the table. Cruises completely alienate cigar smokers.

Your multi quote is lame bro stop it

And yes both are allowed in Vegas... cruises... nope.

And have you seen the cigars some smoke? Id have to disagree with the "higher income" thought fam sorry

But also, keep in mind that a lot of these cruise ships are constantly being refurbishes.... they probably just don't put in enough money to support proper ventilation.

Anybody that has been in a boat cigar room knows that even ifs just cigar smokers, the rooms have some heinous smoke eaters. They can't keep up... even if its only two people in there.

Maybe its just not a priority to cater to 10 cigar smokers on a ship when they find better ways to allocate funds and space for others.

Either way, im gucci with their restrictions. Anybody that goes on a cruise shouldn't expect the red carpet treatment when it comes to smoking. Put the stogie down, go chill with the family and enjoy a nice cocktail

yuherd?

There will always be a reason to complain about something... i go on cruises to have a blast and i smoke when i hit the ports and thats it.

Your lack of proper grammar is excruciating, bro. Please do better.

You can find me in Vegas but never on a cruise.

A cigar, even the lame ones, cost more than a pack of cigarettes. As far as disposable income goes, which plays well into a Casino's target demographic, cigar smoker beats the cigarette smoker 3 out 5 times.

I see where you are going here, and you may be right. I just find it hard to believe that cigar smoke is as taxing on the maintenance as cigar smoke when you consider the ratios. Again, maybe there is something I am missing here.

I guess my main point in this whole thing is if you are going to allow cigarette smokers to smoke, why exclude cigars?

I have no problem abiding by the rules on this one. I just find it frustrating that they say yes to Group A who is doing the exact same thing as Group B but Group B was told no.

There will always be a reason to complain about something... i go on cruises to have a blast and i smoke when i hit the ports and thats it.
Absolutely. Vacation where you want. Smoke what you want. Drink what you want. (even if it is ruining the great rum that is also in your glass.)

Cruises aren't for everyone, hence why its your right to pick your own destination

In certain areas of the country a single cigarette which cost as much as a shitty cigar

Its ok to say I'm right

More people will complain about cigar smoke over cigarette smoke. Complain enough and anything can get regulated. Cigarette smokers outnumber us, facts.

There is no single cigarette that costs $3.00+.

Its ok to say I'm right
Chuck, you are right; but I won't admit it.
