  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Cuban Crafters flat cutter - anyone had issues?

So, I picked up a Cuban Crafters flat credit-card size cutter after reading about it in one of the cutter discussions, thinking I'd want something that I can keep in my wallet. It's not completely flat, it's the thickness of 3-4 credit cards, but good enough. The problem is that it seems I've had an abnormally high number of instances where the head starts coming apart since I've started using it. I've been cutting with as quick a motion as I can. Has anyone else experienced this? I'd post the link, but I'm not allowed to post URLs yet, so just Google 'cuban crafters flat cutter' if you're not sure which cutter I'm referring to.

Thanks,

David

maybe slow down a bit, don't have to go as fast as you can. I have similar one and have no issue, or maybe cut off less?

Yeah, was sort of suspecting I'm cutting too fast. I'm taking off as little as I can, so that's probably not it. I'll slow it down and report back :) Thanks!
