  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

anybody use one? do you like it?

idea is that it only allows you to cut a small amount off your cigar. I guess you can do a second cut if needed. It also has a little hole for the tip of your perfecto to be cut off.

Yep, I've actually used one at the local shop. Maybe I was trying to cut too big of a ring guage, but even with the hole...I had to cut twice. I think that there are too many different sizees for this to wrok effectively...just my 2 cents though.

Its alright, my brass part fell out which has opened the hole bigger than it should be, but i think its for the best because it cuts the cigar correctly then.

I was gifted one of these and I like it when I use it but I prefer a V Cut on my cigars. FWIW this cuban crafter cutter is pretty good and would be something a newb should consider so they don't hack off more of the head than they should.

I'm in agreement here, that is probably the biggest problem a new/first time cigar smoker deal's with. The wrapper starts coming off and the initial impression is that it's a cheaply made cigar when in fact it's not the cigar at all.

Yes, I own several cutters similar to the Cuban Crafters cutter.

I've got one and love it. No more taking too much off the top, and yeah, as others have stated, if the cut is too small on a torpedo, cut it twice! :) I've got the new model... anodized black aluminum. Works great.

i like those... but the hole does not allow enough of a "torpedo" shaped stick to go trough, and I often end up doing a second cut... (maybe it's just me)
