  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Nice thread on cigar scissors back from 2012 but can't find anything more recent and very little on the CC Revolucion
3-Blade Cigar Scissors.
Anyone have some hands-on experience/opinions with them???
The 3-blade concept, lifetime guarantee and the price(well less than half of the Xikar Multi-tool option) make it
interesting....IF it works.
The Xikar seems expensive and some have said its other tools really don't function all that well. and its small, key-ring
size and portability isn't that important to me as 90+% of my smoking is at home, on the deck.
My current cutters are a Xikar V-cut and CC Perfect Cutter, and less frequently a Palio; all serve me well.
Would the Revolucion scissors be a good addition to my small collection of cutters??
Thanks for any/all input.

I own this but have stopped using it. It does work and does a nice job of not tearing or pulling caps off but with three blades there is just too much of a total gap between the top and bottom blade, resulting in cuts that aren't always straight and flat. Maybe if they could design if with thinner blades it would get better results.
