Cuban Stock Extra Belicoso
Size: 6.25x52
Wrapper: Dominican Republic
Binder: Dominican Republic
Filler: Dominican Republic
APPEARANCE & CONSTRUCTION: Has a deep dark rich looking oily Maduro wrapper with some small sized veins. Had a sweet hay and raisin smell. Very appealing.
FIRST THIRD: Started out with some good pepper spice with a light meat and sweet wood flavors.
SECOND THIRD: The pepper spice turned to a milder spice with a dark cherry and leather flavors.
FINAL THIRD: The pepper spice picked back nicely and had a stronger wood flavor along with rich tobacco flavors.
SMOKING CHARACTERISTICS: The draw is easy but not loose and had nice plumes of smoke throughout. The burn was razor sharp with a nice silver/grey ash.
CONCLUSION: This cigar is a nice medium to full bodied smoke with plenty of flavor throughout. The pepper spice is strong but not overpowering and the flavors mixed well. Overall a very enjoyable cigar.
