It's no wonder why those vintage cigars taste different than more recent productions. A lot can be said for laying down a box to age, but I wonder what the time line is like for these strains and how much of an impact it has on the tastes of a cigar from decade to decade.
Some of the cigars that I have smoked from the 70's are way different from thier counterparts that I have smoked from the mid 90's, and it's more than just having more age on them. I'm sure it has something to do with the strain used to fill the cigars too.
