Cigar: Cubao No. 4 (4 7/8 x 50)

Cost: $5

Drink: Coca-Cola Classic (the best cola out there)

Appearance: 1 Banded Cigar that says Cubao with a brown background. It says Espinosa y Ortega at the top. This has an ecuador sumatra oscuro wrapper. There were some veins showing.

Taste of the cigar: This cigar had a woodsy, spicy, and coffee taste to it. It is somewhat one-dimensional.

Construction: Held an average ash. The draw was a little bit too loose. The cigar required a few touchups, but had a razor sharp burn for the most part.

Strength: This was a medium-full cigar.

Summary: This cigar was pretty average and one-dimensional to me. I dont think I will ever buy a box of these. Maybe a single every now and then. I give it a 7/10.

I tried the lancero, I think i agree that the flavor was a little one-dimensional but i still think i liked a little better than you did. I found it to be spicy and earthy with the "sour apple" spice I've been getting from the newer Pepins.

I think the Lanceros are the best of the line & I really liked them.
I've gone through a box & will get more.
A side note: I think the Mi Barrio is an 'amped-up' version of this blend.

nice review,

I have been killing myself trying to find singles of these to buy.

There is just none to be had round these parts.
