Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
I meant to mention that too - in the 5 years I've had no, never sent it back. I should because it's free (correct?) and they take it apart, clean and sharpen. I'm pretty sure you only pay for postage and insurance. Honestly, it is still in such good shape and I do wipe it down every now and then.I've heard nothing but great things about Xikar's quality and warranty.
Have you ever had to use the warranty since you've had it?
The multi tool looks like a great idea. I like the convenience of it having a loop to carry it on my keys. Hopefully my B&M has one I can look at.Lots of great choices: Palio, various Xikars, Swiss Army Knife (SAK)... It all depends on personal preference. I think more people prefer Palio to Xikar, but not by an overwhelming margin. They feel different in the hand, so your best bet is to try various cutters belong to friends, cigar shops, etc. Personally, I own them all, but I find that the one that I use most is the Xikar Multi-tool, which has a cigar scissors. It has a loop and is always on my keychain, so I don't have to carry a separate cutter. Have fun trying out all of the options.
I'll give them a look today.Palio, hands down.
You're too kind brother! I'm amazed at the generosity of this placeI have a palio and really like it. I also have a xikar x8 that I won in a Ebay auction. I'll give it to ya if ya want it. Does me no good sitting on my desk.
+2 hands down, best cutter everPalio, hands down.
