Since about this time last year I've been trying my hand at making some pipes.
I'm really enjoying it. I can see myself progressing and getting better which is nice.
Learning lots along the way and meeting some cool people who are doing the same. (@Tyler86 )
Here's a few pics of some of my stuff so far.
Also, @Dran has a couple of pipes made by me.139007

@Matt_21 !!!!

Sup

Some of the last few I’ve actually finished. Tossed about 3 since then and can’t find time to finish the odd ball one I’m working on. Didn’t end up anything remotely close to what I had envisioned....

Hell. Yes!
Those are awesome!
I love that Canadian at the bottom. Beautiful grain.

2nd color of stain is done, at least first coat. Need to 800/buff and fine tune the stem. About 8 hours I think. Just been stupid busy with work and hanging with the kids when I’m not working. Maybe this week.

Nice.
I've really got to get working on another green Billiard. Had a guy I know 'order' one just like that one above with the clear stem. Gotta get it shaped, sanded, stained, buffed...just hard to get the time.

I was asked to make another green Billiard.
Some progress pics.
I have a nose burner someone ordered next and then I have a "freehand Dublin churchwarden" in line when I get time...that one hasn't been ordered. That's a project I set up.

Got out last night and grabbed a block from the 70s. A few progress shots and where I left it when I came in. What beautiful grain. No pits anywhere.

Haven't had too much time outside in the last while but, here's a couple I've made progress on.
First is from a pre-drilled block a brother sent me.
Second is my first attempt at making my own stem.IMG_20200105_150443.jpgIMG_20200105_150500.jpgIMG_20200105_150132.jpgIMG_20200117_140250.jpgIMG_20200117_144539.jpg
