  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Was just about to post this. It's about time too. He needs a team that can get him up there to compete. DEI is really just a midpack race team now.

Could be a big ginx (however you spell it) there. Bud might follow him but I bet the #8 stays with DEI.

The 8 will stay with DEI that is the way it is set up.... the #3 is with RCR, and Budweiser is going, his contract with them does not run out until next year, which ultimately he will get resigned too

Somehow, I don't think that this is quite over. Jr is entitled to 20% (there are 5 children). He wants control and Theresa is an "absentee owner". If Jr. and Truex leave DEI, I doubt that DEI can survive for too long. Bud and BPS are following the drivers so DEI is loosing both their best drivers AND their most lucrative sponsors. Sure, they could find newer drivers, but how long will it take to groom them?

No, I think now that Jr and Truex have made it clear they will seriously walk away, DEI will counter offer....

Of course, in light of my recent performance in the NASCAR Challenge, my 2¢ could just be so much BS!

DEI cannot do anything about BUD, their contract is with Dale not DEI...

and apparently they said that DEI still wants to expand to 4 cars..

DEI and Yates will combine to form a team with 4 cars and they will be FORDS. Dale Sr. will roll over in his grave but I beleive this will happen and see it as the only way DEI can survive. Yates and DEI have met before Dale Jr. made his announcement and I think Jr saw the possiblity of driving a Ford next year something I don't think he would do.

This is my opinion based on nothing more than a gut feeling. I don't follow NASCAR nor do I care how this plays out but I see this as the only way DEI survives this mess.

Won't be the #3.....#33 maybe......What about Hendrick sellong share of the 48 to Gordon....Then he could start another car. Can't have more than four you know.
