  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

My wife and I will be heading to Dallas on 3/15 to attend a seminar for work. The seminar is on 3/16 and then we're going to make a weekend of it in Dallas. Not sure on when/if I'll be available, but was curious about what shops would merit a visit and if anyone was interested in meeting for a smoke?

Up In Smoke has shops throughout the metroplex. They always seem to have a decent selection, although more geared towards the bigger names (Fuente, Ashton, MC, etc etc).

Also Dallas Cigars has a lot of the more boutique stuff, and a somewhat small collection.

But, my favorite place is Elite Cigar. Best walk-in humidor in the metroplex I've seen so far. Biggest selection. And the best thing is they have a bar/restaurant attached to it where you can smoke inside or out. It's the only place I can convince my wife to come with me to so I can smoke :) They also give you 15% off any purchase of 20 or more cigars, which I think is pretty nice.
