Pipe smokers need to vote with their wallet and demand that the convention organizers move the show to someplace less restrictive. Why contribute revenue dollars to a local economy where you are not wanted?

The problem there, is that it's a very successful convention, largely because of the efforts of Frank Burla, and the Chicago Land Pipe Club. The likelihood that they would move it to another local is probably small.

It is sad to see it go down like that.
I enjoy going each year and the fact that you can't smoke now inside with a drink is crap.

I hate to see our freedom go down the tubes.
Chicago pipe show is usally the highlight of my year and the chance to share a bowl or 2 with friends i have not seen in a year.

Kansas City recently passed a restrictive law just a month ago.
it will be sad to see if they take away the ability to smoke at the KC Pipe show as well.
