  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

At our shop we sell a freakin' boat load of Omar Ortez cigars. I've had dozens of customers tell me that I should try one, I've had the shop owner tell me I should try one and just never wanted to. So today when our Altadis rep was in, he picked one up out of our humidor and told me I had to finally smoke one. That was a freakin' nice cigar.

I had the Omar Ortez Original which is a Nicaraguan puro, Toro 54x6. Nice construction although a little rough, great draw, perfect burn and very nice spice and full bodied flavours. I'll smoke more that's for sure. It was damn gooood.

It is the Altadis version of the Edge. The packaging is almost a dead rip off of the Edge. I've tried one and thought it wasn't too bad. Liked it better than the Edge actually (not a fan of the Edge at all).

I like them too. It is a nice cigar and especially for the price. I've smoked quite a few of these and never disappointed. I have a few toros and in my humi for about a year now. That's from when they didn't have a band on the foot. They are starting to show some nice plume now.

Thanks Wade. :lookaroun Now you got me thinking and costing me money when I shouldn't be spending any on smokes right now. I'll be taking a ride to my B&M today to pick up a few more to let them rest in my humi while I smoke the ones I have. :cbig:

Shhhhhh! These are a great little secret. I picked up 25 of them about ayear ago and have them resting in the bottom of th ehumi. I got the torpedo size. Picked mine up at $2.50 a piece. 10 for $25.

I pull one out from time to time to check on them. They're sparkling at this point.

Cbid has em from time to time at cecent prices. that's where i first discovered them, got a 5er for $9 shipped.

And for what's it's worth, Pete and I have a brief conveersation about these. He said he had Omar make some blends for him a while back.

Jump on board everybody. these are indeed good cigars for the price.

Ive sent a few to borthers' here on the board.
