Former University of Texas and current Kansas City Chiefs linebacker,
Derrick Johnson, is inviting you to join him for a night of free food and drinks at the Audi Showroom (2315 Richmond Ave.) in Houston, TX on Friday, June 15, 2007 from 6:00pm to 10:00 pm to announce the upcoming events for his foundation. King of the Field - The Derrick Johnson Foundation, was established to create scholarships for high school graduates and build playgrounds in inner-cities.

Honoring Mr. Joe Jamail (World-renowned attorney/philanthropist) as the 2007 Community Honoree
The gala will be held at the Hobby Center (800 Bagby, Houston, TX 77002), and dinner will be served in Artista. The NFL invited guests for the Gala include: Vince Young (Titans), Cedric Benson (Bears), Michael Griffin (Titans), Nathan Vasher (Bears), Tommie Harris (Bears), Brian Robison (Vikings), Stanford Routt (Raiders), Aaron Ross (Giants), Selvin Young (Broncos), Bo Scaife (Titans), Charles Tillman (Bears), Kevin Kolb (Eagles), Wes Welker (Patriots), Jordan Black (Texans), N.D.

There will be a silent and live auction including a chance of lifetime trip to Kansas City to watch the Chiefs vs. Titans this upcoming NFL season. The winning bidder will receive transportation, hotel accommodations, and the opportunity to meet Vince Young and have dinner with Derrick Johnson after the game.
* Celebrity Bowling Tournament - Saturday, June 30, 2007
Derrick is hosting a bowling tournament at Jillian's (7620 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX). The event begins at 6:00pm and will consist of 10 teams
of six people per team (5 bowlers and one NFL player) with awards for the top teams. If you would like to enter a team or sponsor a team, please let us know soon. Jillian's is a fun place with a lot of different things to do so please come out to meet Derrick and his NFL friends.
