  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I don't know if there are any pipe smokers besides me and Spanks. I think he gets his pipe baccy at elite, but does anyone know of a good pipe shop in the DFW area? It seems that most of the shops carry H&H bulk for expensive, and that's it. I want to have a convo with a real person about pipes.

I don't know it has been a while since I was in Dallas. But there was Up in Smoke. I don't know what they carry in Tobaccos I know they had pipes and some when I was there. But I went there for Cigars while i was in town.

The up in smoke guys seem to know a bit about pipes, also, there is a shop in south Arlington that I have been meaning to get to, but it is a bit of a drive for me, even more so for you.

There is one particular UiS guy that helped me get started. But the one in Flower Mound only their brand (which is lane bulk) and a few tins of overpriced stuff.

No matter where you go, the shops will only have overpriced tins. Another place to go would be Ye Olde Snoke shop in grapevine on Main. Let me know if you go there as that is only ten minutes from the house.

Bloody hell? Since when do Texan's say that?! It's nice, only been a couple times. I'll keep it in mind that you're close if I ever go back

Short answer, NO. NONE. The best pipe shop in that general area is in Weatherford on the town square called Tobacco Lane. I lived in the DFW for 20 years and only Tobacco Lane has lived up to my expectations. They do have a shop in downtown Fort Worth, with limited tins of tobaccos and some pipes.
