  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Brand: Diesel
Line: Diesel Unloly Cocktail
Vitola: Small Torpedo 5 x 56
Origin: Nicaragua (I Think)
Wrapper: Pennsylvania/USA Maduro
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua (Jalapa, Condega, Esteli)
Body: Full
Strength: Medium/Full
Price: $3 was gifted to me.

Description: Firm and clean wrapper. Smooth but firm. Dull brown wrapper. Cut with my Xikar MTX. Nice cap.

Burn: Draw was easy. Smoke was moderate to full. Burn was straight with no touchup.

Verdict: There was a little wood with this cigar (jokes can now begin). Retrohale was chocolate and cocoa. The flavor was wood and sweet toast. There's a bit of coffee in this one, almost espresso at times. This is an good cigar. I'd buy it. If I had another, I'd smoke it.

FYI: reviews are subjective. I'll only post one if I can find some concrete facts about it. I'll throw my impressions in, but rely on the facts to make a decision.

they have a permanent spot in my humidor, and at $3 each, always will. The Shorty line is even better. Diesel in a 4x60, and they're supposed to be releasing a Diesel Unlimited line sometime soon that will have all ligero, including the wrapper if I'm not mistaken.
