Diff between heartfelt beads and other beads

Trying to decide how I wanna do this humidor.
HCM beads, heartfelt beads or the humidity beads on amazon? I tried posting a link but the forum won't let me cause I'm new

What's the diff between heartfelt and the ones I sent the link of?

Heartfelt or QualityRH you can trust. If you try to save a buck and buy something on ebay you may just end up with KL.

I'll take KL over beads anyday. Beads do work but if you want to pay 2 or 3 times the price for something that KL does just as good then like anything else....it's only money.

I use heartfelt in one cooler and kl in the other. They both have been equally steady and no issues. Guess it does come down to money

I didn't want to start that conversation but my silicone KL keeps my cigars perfect. I will never go back.

Actually, it was Cigary's instructions that he so generously shared that made me decide to use KL instead of paying more for the HF beads. No regrets whatsoever. My coolidor is holding rock-steady at 65% right now in the heat and humidity of Summer. In the dry Winter here, it held at 62%

Another KL proponent here! I started off spending the money on HF beads, but when I expanded I tried the KL approach and will never look back. Dirt cheap. No problems.

Do you have a WalMart nearby?
If so, the one you want is called MiMi Litter (make sure it's unscented) It's like $4 for a 4lb bag, and I believe they "ship to store" for free, even if they don't regularly carry it (at least they do stateside)

Totally different product.

The latter is one-way humidification. May work in a cheap desktop humidor, may not.

The former is two-way so if your humidity gets too high, it will reabsorb the excess. This will actually stabilize your cigar environment whereas the humicare gel does not.

It works for some people, I don't recommend it.

Sigh... I have been using kitty litter for years. I used bead and KL side by side in two matched coolidors for two years. Virtually no difference once both settled in. I was scepitcal until Headbanger, a BOTL brother, sent me half a bag of of Exquisicat. Never looked back. Litter pearls also works
